Business-problem-oriented work with a Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) approach — connecting users, domain knowledge, data and technology.

Key deliverables

  • • Development and evolution of Power BI dashboards, with data modeling, DAX and DirectQuery
  • • Building and validating SQL queries in Trino for data investigation, indicator checks and source migration
  • • Development of a specialized GitHub Copilot agent (VS Code) to support dashboard migration from QlikView to Power BI and Trino
  • • Applying FDE principles: starting from a real operational problem and adapting the solution to business rules and the team's workflow
  • • Structuring the agent with reusable instructions and procedures: mapping sources, tables, relationships, measures and rules; detecting divergences; supporting SQL fixes; generating Excel reports vs. legacy
  • • Validation of KPIs and business rules, identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, historical limitations and modeling impacts
  • • Data quality, consistency, traceability and documentation across DEV, HML and PROD environments
  • • Interface between business, BI and data to turn requirements into indicators, automation and analytical solutions
